I am a wife of 34 years, a mom of 2 grown sons, 2 daughter-in-loves and a Millie to 5 precious grandchildren.
Having homeschooled my two sons from Kinder to graduation (a total of 20 years), I finally retired in 2017, only to put the teacher hat back on for a few years, to homeschool my two oldest granddaughters. I have since passed the torch onto their parents, but still love to watch them learn on our once-a-week Millie Days.
On Writing....
I've written 2 books - one homeschooling How-To/Memoir titled "I Could Never Do That! And Other Homeschooling Obstacles You Need to Get Over" and a book of stories and essays titled "Notes from a Writer's Heart", filled with personal stories I wrote over the years. Both are available on Amazon.
I've also written numerous articles for various magazines, had a blog back in the day and once was a cast member/speaker in a National storytelling show for writers called Listen To Your Mother. Unfortunately you can still see that video on YouTube!
Now, as an empty nester, I'm slowly finding my rhythm of writing, blogging again, cooking for two, keeping up with friends and family and taking walks with my husband. I love puzzles, British crime shows, reading biographies and memoirs, listening to podcasts and eating Mexican food at least once a week.
My ultimate calling and passion is being a wife, mom and homemaker and honoring Jesus in my every day life.
