Laura is a Jesus-follower, a homeschool mama, and a rookie homesteader who lives in the mountains of north-central New Mexico. She has been married to her husband since 2010, and together they have two sons, ages 9 and 1.
Laura holds a degree in Creative Writing from the University of New Mexico, with a minor in U.S. Military History. She loves coffee, reading, playing games of all sorts, deep conversations, and finding beauty in the world around her.
Laura's journey to motherhood was fraught with unexpected obstacles, that included miscarriage and secondary infertility. She has also dealt with mental health struggles in the form of clinical depression. She is passionate about motherhood and mental health, and she loves sharing about her faith journey and the hope to be found even in the darkest of places.
