Make More Babies: Sarah Seifert and EveryLife’s Bold Mission
AmericanMom Team |Everyone’s true colors were shown as Roe v. Wade was overturned in June 2022. Companies and individuals who had donated, in some way or another, to Planned Parenthood were now posting about it and doubling down. “Shout my abortion” became a trend. Those who have stood staunchly against abortion now found themselves in an interesting quandary: where do I shop to avoid directly supporting abortion? And are the very diapers I’m putting on my precious baby made by a company who doesn’t value life?
And then, less than two years later, Elon Musk—officially the new owner of Twitter (X)—posts “Having children is saving the world”. From there, the fire was lit. Pro-life diaper makers, EveryLife, coined a simple maxim: Make More Babies. Not only was this phrase then integrated into their business model, but they plastered it on a Times Square jumbotron for one of the most historically Democrat cities in the world to see.
“As I researched baby brands, I was disheartened to find that nearly every major diaper company was financially or vocally supporting abortion. My husband and I felt a deep sense of responsibility—we couldn’t just stand by.” – Sarah Gabel Seifert
The beauty of this campaign is multi-faceted; it declared, boldly and clearly EveryLife’s position within the baby products industry, and it sparked meaningful conversations that have been needed for years. We’ve recently had the privilege of speaking with Sarah Gabel Seifert to get her side of the story and keep the conversation going.
Can you share any personal stories or experiences that have shaped your views on abortion?
One experience that profoundly shaped my views on abortion was my time serving at the Pregnancy Resource Center in San Clemente. I had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team, supporting vulnerable women facing unplanned pregnancies. I saw, firsthand, the fear and uncertainty these mothers experienced, but I also witnessed the beauty of life-affirming choices.
I’ll never forget the moments when women, after seeing their baby’s ultrasound, choose life instead of abortion. Those experiences reinforced my belief that every life is precious and that, with the right support, women can embrace the gift of motherhood with confidence.
What was the “ah ha” moment that inspired you to start EveryLife?
The “ah-ha” moment came when I was pregnant with my first child, excitedly preparing for her arrival. As I researched baby brands, I was disheartened to find that nearly every major diaper company was financially or vocally supporting abortion. My husband and I felt a deep sense of responsibility—we couldn’t just stand by. We needed to create a solution for parents like us who are passionate about protecting life. It wasn’t just about making diapers; it was about standing boldly for life and giving families a meaningful choice that aligned with our values.
Around the same time, our parent company, PublicSquare, was building a marketplace for businesses rooted in pro-freedom, pro-family, and pro-life values. Their mission lit a fire in us: Why isn’t there a pro-life diaper company? That’s when the vision for EveryLife truly took shape—a way to combine my personal passion with PublicSquare’s commitment to supporting families and championing life.
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: sometimes it’s not enough to simply shop somewhere else, we have to show up and compete. Often we’re locked in to the company’s we can support—it’s who is in our area, it’s cheaper, etc. But as Conservatives, voting with our dollars is key to creating the world we want to see and realigning America’s current society with its original values.
There’s an irony in the fact that companies like Pampers donate to abortion. How do you plan to use Everylife to create a parallel economy?
It is deeply ironic that companies like Pampers, which exist to care for babies, also support causes that advocate for ending life in the womb. That’s why we created EveryLife—to be part of a growing parallel economy that reflects the values we hold dear. We’re building a pro-life alternative, where parents don’t have to compromise their beliefs when buying everyday essentials.
EveryLife partners with like-minded businesses and organizations that stand for life, allowing families to shop in alignment with their faith and values. By supporting EveryLife, parents are choosing a product that celebrates life and strengthens the pro-life movement.
Abortion supporters accuse the Pro-Life movement of only supporting life before birth. How does EveryLife’s Buy For a Cause program help foster a culture that supports mothers and babies at all stages?
That accusation couldn’t be further from the truth, and our “Buy For a Cause” program is proof of that. At EveryLife, we’re committed to supporting moms and babies long after birth. Through this program, every purchase directly donates diapers and wipes to pro-life organizations, pregnancy centers, and families in need. We partner with these organizations to provide real, tangible support to mothers—whether they’re facing unplanned pregnancies or raising
their children in difficult circumstances. Our mission is to protect and celebrate life at every stage, ensuring that both mom and baby are cared for and uplifted in their journey together.
Tell us about the diapers! What makes them unique in the market besides their pro-life background?
Our diapers are truly unique, not just because of our pro-life mission, but because of the quality and care we put into every product. We designed EveryLife diapers with parents in mind—offering 12-hour leak protection, supreme softness, and a snug, comfortable fit. They’re free from harsh chemicals, fragrances, dyes, lotions, and parabens, making them safe for even the most sensitive skin.
Parents love the simplicity of our clean, white design without busy, distracting patterns. We also offer the convenience of doorstep delivery, so parents can trust they’re getting premium, high-performing diapers without compromising on their values or quality.
“In a cultural climate that often promotes the opposite, it’s more important than ever to remind people that parenthood is not a burden—it’s a blessing.” – Sarah Gabel Seifert
EveryLife recently launched an epic ad campaign featured in Times Square: Make More Babies. Tell us how that started and why you believe it is so important in our current cultural climate?
The “Make More Babies” campaign started as a bold response to a culture that seems to undervalue the beauty and importance of children. We wanted to challenge the narrative that overpopulation is a threat and that career success should come before family.
One of the biggest inspirations behind this campaign was Elon Musk’s powerful tweet, “Having children is saving the world.” Those words hit home for us at EveryLife because they align perfectly with what we believe—that children are a gift from God and the key to a thriving future.
Launching the campaign in Times Square was intentional. We wanted to bring this life-affirming message to one of the most visible, influential places in the world. In a cultural climate that often promotes the opposite, it’s more important than ever to remind people that parenthood is not a burden—it’s a blessing. Children aren’t just our future, they’re saving our world, and we believe that message is exactly what families need to hear today.
How was the campaign received in a city that is left of center – the good, the bad, the ugly?
The “Make More Babies” campaign in Times Square was received far better than we anticipated. The good? We saw incredible support from families and individuals who were excited to see a pro-life message in such a bold, public space. The positive response was overwhelming—families and individuals shared the message far and wide, and we were able to spark some really meaningful conversations about life and the value of children.
As for the bad and the ugly, while we didn’t face widespread criticism, some negative comments did come from women we interviewed on the ground. Many of them echoed the prevailing cultural lies about overpopulation and the belief that career success should come before family. They affirmed this narrative that’s been pushed for too long; that having children is a burden or that overpopulation is a threat. These are the same ideologies that discourage parenthood, and that’s exactly why campaigns like “Make More Babies” are so important. We’re here to push back against those lies and celebrate the truth: that children are a gift, and that family is a far greater joy and legacy than any career can offer.
Will Make More Babies be a bigger part of the EveryLife product line, mission and future advertising?
Absolutely! “Make More Babies” is more than just a campaign—it’s becoming a core part of EveryLife’s identity and mission. We believe this message speaks directly to the heart of who we are and what we stand for. It’s not just about selling diapers; it’s about creating a movement that celebrates life and encourages families to embrace the beauty and blessing of parenthood.
Moving forward, you’ll see “Make More Babies” integrated into our product line, future advertising, and our broader mission. We plan to continue amplifying this message through events, partnerships, and creative campaigns.
It’s a bold statement, but it’s one we believe is crucial in today’s world where children are often seen as a burden rather than the incredible gift they truly are. Our goal is to continue fostering a culture that supports parents and celebrates life at every stage.
When it comes to the causes we care about, we cannot fall victim to by-standers syndrome. Whether we bring our values to the companies we already work for and shop at, or if we build our own, the way we change the world is dependent on our actions as Pro-Life Conservatives in a world determined to devalue and belittle life.
